Caprina by Canus, a line of goat’s milk soaps in several fragrances, is now available at 180 Hannaford Supermarkets throughout New England. The line first launched in Canada in 2009.

Canus, based in Quebec, Canada, is a leading provider of fresh goat’s milk skin care products – and the best selling goat’s milk soap in North America. The company’s U.S. headquarters are in Waterbury, VT.

“We are pleased that Hannaford is one of the very first supermarkets to offer our newest line here in the U.S.,” said Andre Beauregard, president of Canus. “We have many consumers throughout New England that will be excited to treat themselves and their families to one of our fresh goat’s milk soap bars during their next shopping trip to their local Hannaford Supermarket.”

The Caprina line (shown) includes soaps packaged in colorful boxes; as well as Fresh Goat’s Milk Body Wash and Fresh Goat’s Milk Foaming Milk Bath in plastic bottles with flip-top caps. The bottles have a curve reminiscent of an old fashioned glass milk bottle.
